How to Save Google Map Offline on iPhone,iOS 9
Apple always provide great features to their users,Google Map is one of them,when Apple launch Google Map at that time if you have a Wi-Fi or cellular data you can simply get access to Google Map,but if you don’t have any internet connection you will not be able to get access to Google Map,if you are in a poor network area and in that area you can’t get access to your internet,you can not get access to Google Map,but now before you go out side you can prepare your self by storing Google Map data in your iPhone ,and can open that map when you are offline,now you are thinking that how to get benefit from this new feature don’t worry i will tell you,follow the given steps.
In first step you have to Download and Install Google Map on your iPhone device,you can simply get it from your app store.
When the installation and download process completes,open the Google Map app,now in the Search box you have to search the location,where you want to use it offline like i search for Dubai,Google Map will say “I save Dubai other wise pinch two fingers on map“.
Now from the bottom of the screen you have to tap on the name of your search,you will be able to download for offline,save it to your account,to get access when you are offline.
You will see “three vertical dot menu icon” click on it.
In results you will see a option of “Save Offline Map” option click on it.
Now you have to simply tap on “Download”.
Now if you want to see that it is save or not you can check it,by settings your device to Airplane mode and off all internet connection now,
- Open Google Map from you device
- Tap on account information icon
- Go to your Places
- Then to all saved location
